Properties:
¡¡¡¡It contains two highly effective fungicides - dimethomorph and mancozeb
- that deliver a powerful combination of contact, penetrant and systemic
action against blight. It protects your crop against all strains of
both Early and Late blight in potatoes, even the Ridomil-resistant
strains. The anti-sporulant activity of it stops, contains and kills
Late blight spores, preventing the spread of blight between plants
and neighboring fields. It provides superior protection when the risk
of Early and Late blight is highest - during periods of rapid plant
growth, when the weather is cool and wet, and when irrigation results
in extended periods of wetness.
Uses:The fungicide may be applied up to three times per season
as part of a preventative fungicide program. For maximum blight protection
it should be applied whenever the risk of blight is high. For instance:Just
before row closure to ensure that systemic activity provides extra
protection under the canopy;When conditions are favorable for blight,
such as cool wet weather, heavy dews and frequent irrigation;End of
season or after burndown to reduce stem lesions from developing when
canopy begins to die back. Research shows that applications of it
during any of these critical periods when disease conditions are optimum
can reduce tuber blight in the field and provide additionnal protection
of tubers during storage. It can be applied up to 14 days before harvest.
Application
Rate:2.5 kg/ha, with
a maximum of three applications per season.
Application Time: 7-10 days under
moderate infestation. 5-7 days under heavy infestation.
